On Christmas day when everything is closed and people are at "home" enjoying family...

This is the prawns and chips from Ludi's which is presently closed this Xmas day! On Xmas,
this is when you realize you are homeless most of all. The storage is my closet, the shelter is my bedroom, the park is my summer time living room, the library is my winter time living room, but when all the living rooms and bedrooms are closed on Christmas the day, the homeless, like their homeless savior shuffle from Starbucks to busbays, from Orca circle train rides, to D line sleepovers waiting for the magic of 12 noon when the charitable feeding begins.

This is the time when most of the free meals begin, at the Pike Place Senior Center and at the William Booth Shelter. Until then we will pay rent at the few remaining open Starbucks locations with our gift cards gleaned from shelter gift bags we were given the night before.
